King Mswati III Fled The Country After Demonstrations Turned To Chaos And Violence.

Swaziland is a Country located in the southern part of Africa, neighboring South Africa. Swaziland is one of the few counties in the world where monarchy leadership rules. In the early 1970s, Swaziland banned the Multi-party system. However, the people of Swaziland seem to be tired of this monarchy leadership. Several days ago, the citizens of Swaziland started a peaceful demonstration demanding democracy in the country. Unfortunately, the demonstration turned to chaos and violence after the demonstrators set fire to some shops at Matsapha town in central eSwatini. According to South African Broadcasting Corp, King Mswati III has fled the country as chaos overwhelmed his government. The people of Swaziland are complaining that the King has to be dictatorial. For instance, in 2018, the King changed the country's name from Swaziland to eSwatini without consulting his people. This took place during the 50th-anniversary celebration of Swazi independence. Celebrations marking Swaziland's 50th anniversary of independence and the king's birthdayKing Mswati III has been leading eSwatini from 1986 up to date. Swaziland is also famous for its strange traditions.
