Bomet's Governor Hillary Barchok has sent a worrying message to Orange Democratic Movement leader Raila Odinga even as he tries to climb the Rift Valley region which is more politically dominated by Deputy President William Ruto..
In a Publication by the Star Newspaper, Barchok has affirmed that the people of Rift Valley are unified in ensuring that they will support DP Ruto in 2022 and their decision won't change.
According to Barchok from the furthest corner of North Rift in Turkana to the South of Rift Valley in Kajiado, DP Ruto enjoy a massive support that has never been seen in the history of Kenyan Politics.
Barchok has stated that elected leaders in the Rift valley who are against Ruto are less than seven and this shows that Ruto's political influence is strong in the region.
Barchok has also stated that Raila is free to tour the region but he should be ready that the votes will be for DP Ruto. He added that Deputy President William Ruto will beat him in more than 30 counties.
