Today, a non governmental organization as aired by Citizen TV came up with a list of politicians who should be barred from vying for electoral positions. The list had many members including Rigathi Gachagua, Babu Owino among others. That the leaders integrity was questionable and they should therefore not be leaders. For that reason, Barasa has taken to social media to react on it. According to him this evening;
"People should relax. A certain NGO wishes that I should not participate in the coming elections for slapping Steve Kay. The case collapsed in a Kimilili law court long ago."
This was a case where Barasa and musician Steve Kay disagreed on the payment of tenders of classrooms. In a video, Barasa is seen slapping Kay. He however said that he didn't slap him . However, it was an issue that caused uproar on social media.
