Days after Kanu allied Kabarnet Ward MCA Ernest Kibet officially dumped Gideon Moi and joined William Ruto's UDA party, another Kanu legislator from the North Rift seems to have shifted camps and join William Ruto's Hustler Nation camp.
According to reports, the Outspoken West Pokot nominated KANU MCA Elijah Kasheusheu popularly known as Ozil has defected the ruling party to UDA.
Elijah, who was among Kanu's key pillars that made sure BBI Bill was passed by the West Pokot county assembly, announced his defection to UDA on Saturday afternoon.
The legislator went ahead to make the defection official through his Facebook page Hon Elijah Kasheusheu Ozil where he wrote "Kazi ni Kazi" a slogan used by the UDA party.
This comes just some days after the MCA expressed clear indications of dumping Kanu for William Ruto's camp. The MCA had promised to console his people before coming out to make any decision.
Not long ago, another of Gideon Moi's close allies officially dumped Kanu for UDA. While making announcements about a month ago, former Eldama Ravine MP Musa Sirma said he will be going to walk with Ruto ahead of 2022.
Sirma said it will be hard selling Kanu in the region, adding that he will be using UDA party to run for his Eldama Ravine constituency ambitions.
