Further, Blair is tasked with repairing the country's damaged reputation around the globe.
Technically, as President Suluhu's key advisor in matters COVID-19 pandemic and diplomacy, the former British PM could be the Tanzania leader's magic bullet in her quest to leave a mark during her rule.
Suluhu's decision to hire Blair is however expected to get too much backlash especially from her critics who believe that the move is unnecessary considering the cost that may be involved.
