Former prime minister Raila Odinga has revealed that President William Ruto did not win the elections in a free and fair manner alleging that he was rigged into power by IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati and the other two Commissioners.
The Orange Democratic Movement Party Chairman has said that Kenyans ought to know that Ruto and the Kenya Kwanza team did not win the elections and that it was marred by illegalities which the team is trying to cleanse through an attempted ouster of IEBC Vice Chairman Juliana Cherera and the other 3 dissenting commissioners who disagreed with the results.
“An independent electoral commission the referee cannot be appointed by a player. Kenya Kwanza lost the elections badly and we cannot accept that they add salt to injury by sending away these commissioners and imposing on Kenyans a user-friendly commission to them,” said the Azimio leader.
Adding that soon he will be leaking the secrets of all that transpired during election day.
The remarks from Raila Odinga come as his running mate in the Presidential election Narc Kenya Leader Martha Karua informed of a plan to have the illegalities of the August 9th General elections addressed at the East African Court.
