A section of Tanzanians has taken to social media to share mixed reactions after the government ruled out Easter Holiday Celebrations.
It should also be noted that police officers were arresting Tanzanians who were found partying during Magufuli's national mourning.
A group of people who had slaughtered a goat were arrested after they were found 'celebrating' Magufuli's death.
Even though police banned celebrations, President Samia Suluhu has wished Tanzanians a happy Easter Holiday.
Some Tanzanians have taken to social media with mixed reactions, with some trolling the government for taking such a move.
Have a look at what they said on Twitter.
@CShibitali: Waacheni watu wafurahie, msilazimishe huzuni.
