Sabina Chege Speaks About The State Of Azimio In Mt Kenya As They Continue With Their Campaigns

Today, the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition party flag bearer Raila Odinga and his running mate Martha Karua have taken their campaigns to Mt Kenya region. This comes immediately after they concluded campaigning in Nyanza region. Many political leaders allied to Azimio la Umoja have attended the rally including outgoing Mombasa county governor John. They were hosted by Kieni constituency member of parliament honourable Kanini Kega, Nyeri town member of parliament honourable Ngunjiri Wambugu and the outgoing Murang'a county women representative honourable Sabina Chege.

Moments thereafter, Sabina took to social media to speak about the state is Azimio in Mt Kenya region. She posted on Facebook;

"Thank you very much Giakanja, Tetu constituency! Kweli Inawezekana na baba na mama. Mlima tunapanda karibu kufika the peak!"

According to her, she is determined that Azimio is becoming strong in the region and they will soon have full support from the residents. Sabina is one of the people who will not be seeking political seats in these elections. She is however on the move to make sure that he gains votes for their presidential candidate Raila Odinga.

Mt Kenya region will play a very big role in determining who the president will be. This is because the region has majority of voters. Their turn out during election days too is usually commendable. Now that the two top presidential aspirants William Ruto and Raila Odinga chose their running mates from there, it is going to be a battle to see who carries the day. Euro has been enjoying support for quite sometime now, however, Karua is likely to give Raila a good number of votes too. Most parliamentarians however sided with Rutto after the fallout of Jubilee.
