MP Peter Salasya Explains Why He Bought Over Ksh7 Million V8 Machine

Mumias East Member of Parliament Honourable Peter Salasya has now explained why he bought a high end car amid heated online debate.

Taking to his Twitter account on Thursday evening, the vocal Democratic Action Party of Kenya (DAP-K) divulged that his decision to buy the multi-million guzzler was made after wide consultations with the electorates.

The youthful lawmaker who made the headlines after acquiring the machine said that Mumias East residents demanded that he should buy a car worth more than ten million.

"Mumias east constituency people warned me that I should use a nice car that will reflect the image of their beloved leader.They told me my vehicle should not be less than 10M and that’s exactly what I did.They are proud of their car🤣🤣.Thanks Hon @EugeneLWamalwa for the company,''said Peter Salasya.

The MP stunned the citizens after acquiring the close to Ksh7 million Land Cruiser V8 despite claiming that he had only ksh500 during his swearing in.

He has however, maintained that the car belongs to the people and he will use it all the time in the interest of his constituents.

The MP who is living full life previously claimed that his campaigns were sponsored by well wishers and his party patron former Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa.
