Ruto's Running Mate Rigathi Gachagua has affirmed that he indeed spoke with the police secretly to know of their issues. According to Gachagua, had he spoke to the police publicly on their issues, most of them would have been sacked.

Gachagua is clear the deputy President William Ruto will look into the police issues more so on their salaries and all that involves them including their uniforms. According to Gachagua, the police are part of Kenya agenda and it's clear their issues will also be sorted out.
Gachagua is clear there has been efforts to stop him from addressing the police issues but such won't succeed. Gachagua is clear this County must have everyone issues fully sorted out for the the better.
Whether the deputy President William Ruto will succeed to turnaround the police service, let's wait and see of what unfolds for it's near we truly live in interesting times. At the moment, it's clear Ruto is focused for an agenda that can uplift the lives police officers so that they can stop mistreating citizens.
