Paul Ongili, more commonly referred to as Babu Owino, is a young, outspoken politician from Nairobi County's Embakasi East Constituency. He is currently serving as the Member of Parliament for the Embakasi East Constituency.
He was elected for a second term during the recently concluded and fiercely contested general elections for 2022 on the ticket of the Orange Democratic Movement. He backs the former second Prime Minister of the Republic of Kenya, Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga, wholeheartedly.
Before the eagerly anticipated Citizen TV Kenya interview with Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga, Hon. Babu Owino has dropped a bombshell for the evening. The controversial politician stated in his most recent post that stars cannot shine without darkness. When Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga retires from politics, Hon. Babu Owino is considered to be one of the few upcoming politicians who are considered to be the best candidates to succeed him at the ODM. He was the University of Nairobi's former student leader.
