Tension remains high in the country as hunt for the next running mates gains wild momentum. As we speak, Kieleweke MP told Standard that if President Uhuru Kenyatta does not take care and pay attention to what is happening in Mt Kenya in terms of Selling the ODM Party Leader Hon Raila Odinga's 2022 Presidential Bid, things could start exploding in the coming days.
Igembe North MP Hon Maoka Maore revealed that some of Uhuru's (Uhuru's) close allies in the ruling Jubilee Party, as well as government technocrats, have failed miserably in their efforts to market Raila's bid, explaining why it's becoming difficult to market Azimio in Mt Kenya.
Maoke said he is worried Uhuru has mismanaged it in terms of political affairs and communications coordination. According to the president's approach to politics, he has a tremendous disaster on his hands.
In relation to President Uhuru Kenyatta's claimed blunder, the outspoken Kieleweke MP has stated for the first time that the ruling Jubilee Party has failed to lead the grassroots campaign, with locals in the region alleging that the party's top brass gather in Nairobi hotels.
