The magazine noted that Kenya possess one of the best election system in the world, smartmatic technologies, which design and create the electronic voting technology services which is designed to make elections more auditable and transparent.
New York Times also noted that the independent Electoral and Boundary Commission (IEBC) employed the most qualified personnel who are capable of handling the smartmatic system and ensuring proper compliance and implementations policies to facilitate a transparent election.
