The president of Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta has today surprised many Kenyans after his photos donned in a military outfit surfaced on social media. The photos were shared by State House Kenya on the official government social media page eliciting mixed reactions from Kenyans. According to the report, the president received a warm and heroic welcome from the presidential jet and was received by the defense cabinet secretary Amb Monica Juma. Other powerful leaders in the country's defense system who welcomed him include the Chief of Kenya Defense Forces General Robert Kibochi. He was received in the Kenya Navy Base in Lamu County.
With many Kenyans asking why the president decided to visit the navy base, its been revealed that the main reason was to conduct a presidential and Color Presentation Ceremony. In addition to that, the head of state is expected to launch various development projects for the people of Lamu county and leave a big legacy as the 4th president of the Republic of Kenya.
