
National assembly minority leader and Ugunja Member of Parliament Opiyo Wandayi has released a statement taking a swipe at what president Ruto said during his joint media interview on Wednesday evening.
He revealed that the Azimio La Umoja one Kenya alliance was disappointed with the president for not handling pertinent issues such as the food security concerns on GMOs.Opiyo Wandayi said it was so unfortunate that president reduce such serious concerns to jokes and breats.
The Ugunja MP urged president Ruto not to mock the dignity of Kenyans who are struggling to put food on the table.He said such humiliations from the president should stop.
"Like most Kenyans, Azimio is disappointed with the President for reducing the food security concern to that of jokes about GMOs and breasts.We're asking the President not to mock the dignity of Kenyans struggling to put food on the table.This humiliation must stop," the National assembly minority leader said.
