New DCI Boss Differs With DP Gachagua

William Ruto of the Kenya Kwanza alliance is at the helm of Kenya's leadership after he emerged the victor on the 9th August 2022 general elections, the new head of state will now be deputized by former one-term Mathira member of parliament, Rigathi Gachagua.

As William Ruto makes new changes in key sectors in the country, former directorate of criminal investigations boss George Kinoti had already tendered his resignation. The process to find a new boss is underway and Hamisi Massa is the acting directorate of criminal investigations.

The acting DCI head has not spared Rigathi Gachagua following his recent directions to the independent body, Gachagua had earlier thrown a salvo at the agency asking them not to frustrate elected leaders but instead stay at Kiambu road and wait for cases to be reported there.

Hamisi Massa has differed with Rigathi Gachagua and maintained that the investigatory body will work under no one's directions and instead they will discharge their mandate as enshrined in the Kenyan constitution, he is simply telling Gachagua to keep of the affairs of DCI.

Thank you.
