Prof Charles Ngome, who is the deputy governor of Bungoma county, dumped the Ford Kenya party for DP Ruto's United Democratic Alliance. UDA party has continued to attract more and more members over the last year from O.K.A coalition, Jubilee, and ODM party.
DP Ruto's top ally and vocal MP Boni Khalwale took to his Twitter account to share photos of Ngome during his welcoming to UDA party.
"Western decides. Bungoma County Deputy Governor, Prof Charles Ngome, has today defected to UDAKenya. He was elected in 2017 on a Ford Kenya ticket. As I said, Western will, in 2022, vote 70% as a block," tweeted Boni Khalwale.
According to Khalwale, 70% of the Western region will vote for DP Ruto in2022.
Ngome is just one of the many leaders who are and will defect to UDA party ahead of 2022.
