Sources Reveal Details of a Letter the Four IEBC Commissioners Have Sent President William Ruto

The four contentious commissioners of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission want His Excellency, President William Ruto, to explain to them how errant they are.

They have requested an explanation from the Head of State regarding how he came to the conclusion that they are rebels after sending out a message on his official social media accounts.

The breakaway Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) commissioners have stated that President Ruto's response will determine their participation in the Justice and Legal Affairs committee in a letter written by their attorney Apollo Mboya and addressed to Ruto.

The aforementioned tweet, which we believe has a connection to the petition before the Honorable Departmental Committee, "We request that you provide us with further and better details forming the conclusions made in your tweet in order for us to participate fully in the proceedings before the Departmental Committee," their lawyer noted.

Just the day before, they were all supposed to appear at the County Hall in Nairobi to continue the investigations being carried out by members of the Justice and Legal Affairs committee. Instead, none of them showed up.

Their attorneys argued that because Head of State President William Ruto had already demonstrated blatant bias against them throughout the entire process, they were unable to participate in the proceedings.
