These allegations have been made by key Ruto allies who spoke to the Daily Nation today.
According to these allies, both Uhuru and Raila's camps are now scheming to delay the 2022 polls and hand Uhuru an extension of his term due to the complications around the Building Bridges Initiative.
Jubilee Secretary General Raphael Tuju has however added fuel to the allegations by revealing why the 2022 elections might be postponed.
Also speaking to the Daily Nation, Tuju has revealed that the only situation that the constitution says can delay and Election is war.
However, according to Tuju, the Building Bridges Initiative is also a complicate matter and very important to Kenyans and is therefore worthy enough to have the next Elections postponed to a later date.
Ruto's allies who spoke to the Nation have however ruled out the possibility of them allowing the 2022 Elections to be postponed especially due to the Building Bridges Initiative.
