According to Jimmy Wanjigi, he has informed that he is confident that he is going to win against Raila Odinga's supporters informing that his strategy is to net as many delegates as possible across the country to support his bid.
However, Jimmy Wanjigi has informed that what will persuade him to support Raila Odinga's presidency is the results after the party's nominations explaining that should he lose in the nominations, then, he will campaign for Raila Odinga as the best leader fit to succeed President Uhuru.
"I am confident that I will win a good majority of these delegates because the time for fresh leadership in the party and the country has come. I will, however, support Raila should I lose in a free and fair nomination" he said.
Jimmy Wanjigi has also informed that by the end of September, his focus is to ensure that he opens 13 offices in the Mt Kenya region, which has not been supporting the Orange Democratic Movement party adding that he is also planning to make inroads even at the Coast region which has been alleged to be Raila Odinga's support base.
"By the end of October, we will have opened offices in 25 counties across the country. We will then move to the Coast to meet delegates while planning office openings in areas where offices don’t exist before moving to Upper Rift," Wanjigi added.
