William Ruto Witnessed Chaos After Motorcade Was Blocked In Busia

Deputy President William Ruto scheduled to address supporters in Busia town during his tour of the Western region.

However, his attempts were thwarted by youths who blocked his entourage, forcing him to divert to Nambale town.

Several youths who were chanting pro-ODM songs, took control of the Busia-Kakamega highway at Korinda area after word went around that the deputy president would pass their into Busia town

The youth are the champions of our economic revolution under the Bottom-Up Economic Development Model. We will put in place supportive policies and legislation that will tap into their energy and skills.

Following the monstrous scene, Ruto and his group changed course and drove towards Nambale where they momentarily tended to their allies prior to continuing with the visit through the far reaching Western district. 

A few drivers were trapped in the skirmish with others announcing harms to their vehicles. Notwithstanding, none of Ruto's was annihilated. 

DP emphasized the 2022 challenge will be between the people who trust in strengthening and the individuals who need to share power among themselves. He added that the Kenyan young populace will be determinant in choosing who takes over from President Uhuru Kenyatta.
