Former President Uhuru Kenyatta's Principal Secretary risks a jail of six months after being found guilty of Ksh83 Million that he failed to pay for a contract signed by the government.
To the reports, President William Ruto's newly appointed principal Secretary of Education Belio Kipsang who also served during President Uhuru Kenyatta's tenure faces law over his case.
The report says that he was supposed to pay Ksh83 Million to the company that signed a contract with the government. However, a file was filed against him after he allegedly didn't execute the exercise.
He was questioned in court to explain why he should not be jailed and to defend himself against the filed case. However, the Court will make its final verdict in January, and if Kipsang would not have paid the debt, he will be imprisoned for six months from the 24th of January.
The reported ksh83 Million is government money that has been questioned to be repaid.
