A former member of parliament has revealed how she has to swallow her ego after many days of waiting and face president William Ruto just as he was about to take off after attending an event. Care Waruguru who was a also a guest at the same event couldn't let her only chance of talking to the president pass by while she watched.
Waruguru took off from her seat and walked to the president who was already seated in the chopper ready to leave and had a short conversation with him. Waruguru who is a strong UDA supporter lost in the last general elections and has since been expecting to be rewarded with a state job by the president. However, she has not received any appointment despite her loyalty to the party.
Taking to her social media platforms Waruguru told her fans that it is always wise to grab an opportunity when it presents itself instead of waiting for it to look for you. She then said that it is what she had done with the president.
"OPPORTUNITIES DONT HAPPEN YOU CREATE THEM, IT IS NEVER TOO LATE TO BE WHAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN. Winning woman Attitude It's difficult to finish a woman who never give up. Keep shining." She said on Facebook.
