President William Ruto has taken to social media to share new images of himself arriving in Ethiopia's capital of Asmara. This comes after silently exiting the country following a graduation ceremony in Western Kenya.
The instant President William Ruto was met by the President of the Republic of Ethiopia, he reviewed the Guard of Honor that had been mounted in his and his leadership's honor.
This is the president's first trip to Ethiopia since taking over the reins of authority from his predecessor, President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Today's discussions revolve around Kenya's bilateral ties with Ethiopia, just a few days after President Uhuru Kenyatta oversaw peaceful negotiations between the two countries. Ruto has reaffirmed Kenya's firm commitment to ensuring that the two countries maintain their long-standing relationship, which has been in place for many years.
