Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Presidential Running Mate Karua has today talked about the Gusii stadium drama that saw her end her rally prematurely as her security details whisked her from the podium
Karua was delivering her speech before a teargas canister landed a few metres from the podium, which disrupted the meeting.
Her security details swang into action and took her to safety. It was later revealed that a police officer lobbed the teargas.
Karua has since said the drama was something small that cannot shake her quest to form the next government.
She noted she will keep on moving around the country to campaign for Azimio regardless of such cases of disruption during rallies.
Karua was speaking while attending another Azimio rally in Nyamira County.
"Jana mliona yale yaliyotokea Kisii Stadium, Mimi siwezi tishwa na moshi kidogo, na ndiposa nimerudi ndio wajue hawatuwezi na fitina kidogo," she said, which translates
(Yesterday you saw what happened in Kisii, I cannot be intimidated by teargas, that is why I have come back to Gusii land, they cannot beat us with a little chaos)
