Makueni County Boss Professor Kivutha Kibwana, has finally given out details why he has resolved to drop his presidential ambition in favour of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga. Kibwana revealed that he has reached out at that decision after a wide consultation with his people of Makueni County.
They told him to shelve his ambition for the top seat this year since he is way behind the two most preferred presidential contenders, ODM boss Raila Odinga and Deputy President Dr William Ruto and whoever thinks he can challenge them may be lying to himself. Since the two are already very far ahead and after consultations with leaders and residents of his county, plus his own research analysis he has found that the contest is between Raila and Ruto. Therefore, there was no need of running for top seat and fail and they advised him to form alliance with Azimio la Umoja Movement of Raila Odinga.
