Waiguru Gives Details of a Meeting With Uhuru, Opens Up on Her Relationship With Kibicho and Ngirici

Kirinyaga governor, Anne Waiguru, has disclosed that she and other Kirinyaga leaders met president Uhuru Kenyatta ahead of the Mashujaa day celebrations. Speaking during a political interview with Citizen TV, Waiguru said that the meeting was attended by key leaders from Kirinyaga as well as the religious leaders.

The governor added that the group presented a memoranda to the president of projects that they would wish to be accomplished before Uhuru ends his term in office.

Waiguru disclosed this information after she was asked how is her relationship with Kirinyaga women representative, Wangui Ngirici and Interior security PS Karanja Kibicho.

She said that the two leaders were among those who joined her in meeting the president, and that they have nothing personal. Anne further noted that her relationship with the two leaders is cordial and professional. She said that they only differ politically but they work together when it comes to the interests of the Kirinyaga people.

PS Karanja Kibicho and Wangui Ngirici have been leading rallies across Kirinyaga county to preach peace. Waiguru has never attended any of the 'Kirinyaga Kwanza' rallies.
