It is now certain that Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka will not be on the presidential ballot after the IEBC invalidated his candidacy for president due to his failure to submit all of the necessary documents.
It is therefore almost certain that the Ukambani kingpin will return to the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance, which has presented ODM party leader Raila Odinga and Narc Kenya party leader Martha Karua as its presidential candidate and running mate, respectively.
Speaking in Narok County during a Kenya Kwanza Alliance rally organized by Deputy President William Ruto, Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua informed Kalonzo that he would return to Azimio on his own now that Ukambani villagers have found a home under Ruto's wing.
The leader of the Maendeleo Chap Chap party said that the Kamba Nation is tired of being mistreated and taken for granted, and that the only alliance that has effectively articulated the region's concerns is the KKA camp led by the DP.
"I have heard that Kalonzo will return to Azimio alone if he does." We at Ukambani have opted to support Ruto and are members of Kenya Kwanza, "Mutua remarked as the residents applauded him:
According to a report by the Nation, Wiper delivered the essential documents in hard copy but failed to submit a soft copy of the 48,000 signatures in Microsoft sheet format.
