"We Have Noticed We Are Moving Slowly, " Chebukati Says, Reveals What Should be Done

Wafula Chebukati has now said they have said that they have noticed that they are not moving with speed as they had expected. He added that the whole process of presidential tallying should be done as soon as possible.

"We have noted that we are not going as quickly as we should; therefore, this activity should be completed as soon as possible," Chebukati said.

On Friday morning, August 12, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) announced more presidential election results.

More than 48 hours after polls closed, the IEBC began tallying the presidential election results at the national tallying centre in Bomas, Nairobi, late on Thursday.

Wafula Chebukati, chairman of the IEBC, addressed the press and announced the second verified results for the seats of Baringo Central, Ol Jorok, Katheani, Kangundo, and Lamu East.

This happens as Kenyans wait with bated breath on who will be the next president of Kenya.
