COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli has made his public appearance for the first time since William Ruto was swotn in as Kenya's fifth president.
Throughhis social media pages, the former Ruto fierce critic revealed that he is back in the country and is going on with his duties.
Atwoli,who failed to turn up for Ruto's inauguration ceremony after travelling abroad, said he had a lunch on Saturday with his friend Mr Antonio of Leopard Beach Malindi at his Ildamat home in Kajiado county.
He also hosted Miss Kenya 2022 for the lunch.
"Having lunch with afriend Mr. Antonio of Leopard Beach. Malindi with Miss Kenya at my Ildamat Home. God Bless" stated Atwoli
Atwoli had been one of Raila Odinga's strong supportets and his campaign criticism on President William Ruto had threatened to expose the COTU boss in bad limelight.
Atwoli had been quoted on several ocassions vowing to ensure Ruto's presidency does not see the light of the day.
However, after Ruto's win, Atwoli was among the first people to come out and offer his full support for the new administration.
