The Deputy President William Ruto's exodus from Jubilee Party which he was elected with in 2017 together with President Uhuru Kenyatta (the party leader) has caused alot of rift in their relationships as seen from their allied members of parliament.
DP ditched Jubilee to form his UDA party which has lately gained alot of fame countrywide, winning various by-elections held. The president allies seem to support Raila Odinga's presidency, attending most of his rallies including the recent Azimio La Umoja meeting in Naivasha.
Today, the party received a letter from parliamentary committee following a notice by the ruling party which nominated them into the various committees in the House now demanding to discharge them. They were given a maximum of 7 days to respond to the speaker of the national assembly.
The removal of these members of parliament will imply a greater impact to DP Ruto's Political influence in legislation matters.
