There has been so many controversies on which leader will the president Uhuru Kenyatta supports or campaign for come 2022 presidential elections.
Many people have been doing their prediction on who Uhuru will support but no one is quite sure of this. Some leaders for Mt. Kenya has been eagerly expecting to be backed up by the president himself.
During the start of his 10 year journey as the president of the republic of Kenya, everybody was sure that the president will obviously back up his deputy president William Ruto. But along the way this changed drastically and the table turned. Almost everybody is now sure that the relationship between the president and his deputy hs detoriated to an extent that Uhuru will not support Ruto come 2022. But since politics is politics we never know, these are just predictions.
However, President Uhuru Kenyatta made this revelation in front of the central Kenya leaders and told them that he will not campaign for them come 2022. He went on to say that he campaigned for them in 2017, but 2022 no one should expect this as he is going for retirement. Do you think Uhuru said the right thing?
