Details have emerged revealing why the former prime minister Raila Odinga allegedly skipped the National Prayer Breakfast. According to the report, the National Prayer Breakfast was held on Thursday, 26th May 2022. It is held on last Thursday of May every year to preach peace with Parliament normally taking charge of everything.
Therefore during the National Prayer Breakfast, Azimio La Umoja's presidential candidate was conspicuously absent. A thing that sparked alot of reactions from people across the country. Leaders who were present include, President Uhuru Kenyatta, Deputy President William Ruto and other leaders like Martha Karua.
Report indicates that the former prime minister Raila Odinga was expected to share like dais with the other leaders as one of the invited guests.
Mr Raila Odinga has been touring the Western parts of the country where on Wednesday he was in Vihiga county. He is also expected to in Busia County today, therefore that might be a reason why he missed this special occasion.
