According to President William Ruto, plans are being made by his administration to lower the price of maize flour.
But he pondered what may have happened if Raila Odinga had prevailed. He claimed that if he had lost to Raila, the price of flour would be Ksh 300 today.
Ruto proclaimed, "Kama uchaguzi huu ungeenda vingine, pengine unga saa hizi ingekuwa shilingi 300."
This roughly translates to "Maybe the price of maize flour would have been Ksh 300 if I could have lost in the August poll."
He urged individuals who were struggling with the high cost of food to be patient, noting that all Kenyans needed to support the cause.
In an effort to combat the soaring prices of goods, he pledged to create more food. Just now, President William Ruto was in an interview as he talked about the issue of maize flour prices.
