
Jubilee Secretary General Raphael Tuju is mourning the death of her mother Mana Mary Odiyo Tuju.
The news been confirmed by State House through their official social media accounts where president Uhuru Kenyatta has already mourned with the family.
At the time of her death, the late Mama Mary was 87 and it has been confirmed that she passed away last night while undergoing treatment at a Nairobi hospital.
President Uhuru Kenyatta has described her as having been a great community leader who was always ready to help those around her at all times despite her background and social status.

The Jubilee party Secretary General was so close to his mother that at one point he disclosed how she was very happy after president Uhuru Kenyatta decoded to have the handshake with his brother Raila Odinga.
"I am happy can now read the president’s speech in Migori, this spirit of the handshake has even made my mother go to the market in peace."Raphael Tuju noted.
