As the Independent Electroral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) mass voter registration exercise continues in the country, many new voters have have came out to get registered in preparation for 2022 General Elections
And now IEBC has revealed the number of new voters that will by 2022,be registered as new voters.
In the reports,some of the regions which are deemed to be DP Ruto's strongholds are expected to have the highest number of new voters, which places DP Ruto at the door of presidency.
Rift Valley region,which is DP Ruto's stronghold,will have the highest number of new voters amounting to 2.7 million voters.
The Eastern Kenya,will have the second highest new voters close to 1.4 million.Dp Ruto has also received a major support from Eastern led by Johnstone Muthama.
The new projections by the IEBC,has caught ODM party by surprise,with some MPs expressing their dissatisfaction with the projections.
MP Peter Kaluma,a close ally of Raila Odinga,tasked IEBC to explain why there was high increase of new voters in Rift Valley and not Raila's strongholds.
