"You Can't Win Elections By Destroying Somebody's Poster" - Governor Kivutha Tells His Opponents

The rise of dirty politics have recently been a common phenomenon in the country, Kenya as the country prepares to go for another poll in the next 38 days. From using propagandas, destroying of one's opponent's campaigns materials etc. is just but a few examples of evil means that many politician's use as they seek for votes.

Taking to the media timeline of the Makueni Governor Professor Kivutha Kibwana, destroying opponent's campaigns materials, abusing or even using propaganda does not guarantee one to victory. The angry Kivutha Kibwana's statement comes just after unknown group of individuals probably sponsored by his opponent went and destroyed his campaign posters.

According to Kibwana who is eyeing the Makueni Senatorial Seat under his Party Muungano, getting a vote is just simple; selling your agendas and manifestos.

"You can't win an election by destroying the posters of somebody else. Or abusing other candidates. Or spreading propaganda. Or hate speech. One needs to sell their agenda or manifesto. Tell people candidly why you want to lead them. What you will offer," Kivutha states.

Kivutha is facing a strong competition especially from the Wiper candidate Daniel Maanzo.
