According to a publication by the Daily nation media group, it has been reported that the head of state failed to keep his election campaign promise of giving women 50 per cent of the Cabinet slots.

As he was appointing his men and women to help him in discharging his duties, the country's top in command only nominated seven women as his CS's falling shot with four to meet his pledge of 50%.
