The former Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture Mwangi Kiunjuri has boosted William Ruto's Tangatanga pact after he declared today that it is time to drop BBI campaigns and redirect political muscles to 2022 campaigns.
Ruto has been on a tour to central Kenya this weekend.Yesterday he was in Isiolo county holding fundraisings to several churches in the region.
Today he has been at Nyandarua county where he attended a church service at AIC Engineer after which he went for a fund drive in aid of the same church.
He was joined by several leaders from Mount Kenya region who threw their weight towards supporting the Deputy President in 2022 general election.
Mwangi Kiunjuri who was also present confirmed his support to the deputy president.It is alleged that Mwangi Kiunjuri might become Ruto's 2022 presidential runningmate.
Another leader, Irungu Kangata who was recently ousted from his position as the Senate majority whip was also present.This is also a big win for Ruto as Irungu Kangata was previously a kieleweke member.
Political re-alignments have started taking shape and Ruto is determined in going for the 2022 presidential seat despite his broken marriage with the president.
