Nelson Havi said that they are ready to handle election case in supreme court. This comes after some Azimio party members alleged that they will go to court.Azimio team had earlier complained that the election was rigged.According to the constitution of Kenya, any candidate is allowed to take presidential matters to court if he or she is not satisfied.
"We are ready for them at the Supreme Court. In fact, we will use their own arguments on quorum of IEBC and the Court’s determination on the same in the BBI case. It will be the shortest fought battle at the Apex Court."
As far as am concerned Azimio have the rights to choose their next step.Going to court with proper evidence is good for them. There are also some IEBC officials who complained that they were not satisfied with the results. It's just yesterday that we had Cherera and other IEBC officials raising complaining.
Before the elected president is sworn in,the candidate with the complains can take them to court.Nelson Havi said that they are ready to defend their presidential win in court.
