A Day After Burma Market Drama, Raila Meets Kikuyu Elders For Special Prayers

The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga on Thursday met traders of Githurai and the Kikuyu Council of Elders in Nairobi. The meeting was held at the Kikuyu Council of Elders headquarters.

The African Union (AU) official showed up minutes to 3pm at the Council's central headquarters along Limuru Road. 

The former Prime Minister at that point joined the seniors in holding unique Kikuyu petitions while facing Mt Kenya. 

Raila has been holding different meetings to advocate for the Building Bridges Initiative. 

On Monday, the NASA chief met Team One Nation drove by previous Mungiki pioneer Maina Njenga at his Karen home. 

On Wednesday, the opposition boss met various young people drawn from Nairobi and later tended to a meeting at Burma market. 

The meeting which was held on Thursday saw Raila joined by other several leaders in the country. Among them were Orengo who is the Senator of Siaya County, Kajwang' who is a leader of Homabay and MPs Paul Koinange of Kiambaa and Jeremiah Kioni who is of Ndaragwa Constituency.
