DP Ruto visits five counties and graces sixteen events in one week as he popularizes his 2022 bid

Presidential seat is one of the most admired political seat in Kenya. It requires efforts, firm strategies and massive funding to win the top seat. The presidential seat has attracted several influential leaders in the country led by deputy president William Ruto.

The deputy president has been traversing different parts of the country popularizing his presidential bid. He leads empowerment programs in different parts of the country and holds meetings with grassroots leaders. He has also come up with a new bottom-up economic model.

In one week the deputy president visited five counties and graced sixteen events to popularize his presidential bid. He began his tour in Kisii county on 4th October. In Kisii county, he met clergy leaders and facilitated an infrastructure development program at South Murigango constituency.

After Kisii county he camped in Narok county for two days. He met grassroots leaders from Transmara, grassroot leaders from Emurua Dikirir constituency and grassroot leaders from both Kuria East and Kuria West constituencies. Later in the evening he met Narok youth leaders for consultative meeting. On 7th October the deputy president met Kajiado East grassroot leaders at Peris Tobiko's home in Kajiado county.

After Kajiado county, the deputy president and his team camped in Laikipia county for two days. He commissioned Nyahururu primary school's multipurpose hall and graced Laikipia empowerment program at Naibor. The following day he met Laikipia small scale traders in Nanyuki.

The deputy president terminated his seven-day tour by attending a church service at St. Eusebius Cathedral in Isiolo county. Afterwards he addressed a mega rally at Isiolo Town.

The deputy president addressed five mega rallies in his tours. He started with Etago market in Kisii county, Kilgoris in Narok county, Kitengela in Kajiado county and Nanyuki in Laikipia county.

The deputy president drummed support for his presidential bid in all this events and rallies. He also popularized his new bottom-up economic model which aims at empowering local traders.
