Babu Owino Set to Have Virtual Meeting With Kenyans Living in The Diaspora Before Wednesday Protest

Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino has revealed that he will be having a virtual meeting on Monday from 9pm, with Kenyans living in the diaspora.

Taking to his Twitter account, the Orange Democratic Movement, ODM lawmaker said that the meeting will include Kenyans in Italy, Canada, German, Netherlands and in the United States of America.

He said that the main agenda of the virtual meeting is to discuss key issues pertaining the country.

"Tomorrow I will have an online/Zoom meeting with Kenyans living in USA, Netherlands, Canada, Italy and Germany to discuss the future of our beloved country.Time:9PM E.A.T," he wrote.

This comes after Owino who accompanied the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance boss Raila Odinga for a rally in Utawala Nairobi County said that their camp is out to put President William Ruto's government in check.

The Azimio boss has insisted that he will be holding rallies on December 7th and 12th at Kamukunji Grounds, as a protest towards President Ruto's move to suspend the 4 commissioners of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, IEBC, and who differed openly with the IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati.
