Oparanya also claimed that the money DP Ruto is giving Kenyans in campaigns is a product of corruption.

"The people of Kampkoi, let us listen to Raila, he is our man and we need to support him by all means. Let no one, including the deputy president, lie to you. Ruto is very clever, he will use us and later dump us," governor Oparanya said.

"We ought to make a far reaching decision. Is there any one of you who do not know what the deputy president has done to the economy in the last five years?

Let us avoid him. Let me remind you, Ruto is not fit to serve Kenyans, he is not who we think he is," Oparanya concluded.

The residents were also asked to remain vigilant and not fall prey to the tribalistic politicians who are after inciting them into war. Raila and Ruto's fate lies in hands of Kenyans. They will decide their president in 2022 on the ballot.
