Details have emerged on ODM Party Leader, Raila Odinga's alleged cancelled meeting with Mt. Kenya Foundation at the Safari Park Hotel. DP Ruto's key ally, Dennis Itumbi has alleged that the ODM Party Leader was invited by Mt. Kenya Foundation on 2022 election strategy.
The Chief Guest of the meeting was Raila Odinga who is determined to succeed his close ally, President Uhuru Kenyatta. According to Itumbi, the aborted event had already divided the group into two with a section of them supporting Raila's Presidential bid while the ret being against it.

A phone call from State House, Nairobi was enough to stop the meeting which was to happen at Safari Park hotel. The ODM Party leader has been meeting various leaders drawn from Mt. Kenya region in a bid to penetrate the vote rich region which is President Uhuru Kenyatta's backyard.
