Azimio la Umoja One Kenya alliance took their Campaign caravan to Nyeri, Mukurweini area to lobby for votes for their presidential candidate Raila Amollo Odinga. Several political leaders allied with Raila Odinga have celebrated the turnout of residents during their rally at Nyeri County.
However, reports have it that Maina Kamanda was heckled by those in attendance with 'Rigathi' chanting. While addressing the crowd, Maina Kamanda posted a question asking whom between Martha Karua of Azimio la Umoja and Rigathi Gachagua of Kenya Kwanza is best suited to take over as the next government second in a command position.
The crowd responded with Rigathi chants continuously. That did not sit well with the Azimio brigade. The rally was led by the Right Honorable Raila Amollo Odinga and HE Martha Karua among other leaders.
