Johnson Arthur Sakaja was born in the year 1986 in Nairobi.The thirty-five year old politician completed his primary school education at Aga Khan academy Nairobi after doing well in the national examination which made him join Lenana school.The national school is among the top in Kenya having produced great leaders in Kenya.
It was at Lenana School that Honourable Sakaja developed his ambition for leadership as he was a member of many clubs such as the history club and also took part in public speaking despite being an introvert.Sakaja did well in his KCSE examination and proceeded to the University of Nairobi where he took a degree in Actuarial science.
It was at the University of Nairobi where he served as the student leader that he got rub shoulders with the mighty of the land for example the retired president,Mwai Kibaki and the current president,Uhuru Kenyatta.After graduating he immediately secured a well paying job in a top company in the country.
Sakaja together with Uhuru Kenyatta founded TNA which sponsored Uhuru to Statehouse and him to parliament as a nominated Member of Parliament.He doubled up as also the party's chairman.In 2017 Sakaja was elected to Senate as the representative of Nairobi. His eyes are now on the Nairobi county's top political seat come next year.Will Sakaja become the next governor of Nairobi?
