According to him, he will conceed defeat and allow whoever will be elected to serve his people. This will be the first time Odinga will conceed defeat to an opponent. In 2007, he rejected results after president Mwai Kibaki was declared winner sparking political violence in the country. The situation was later contained by Koffi Anan who brought them together and formed a coalition government.
In 2023 and 2017, Odinga again moved to courts after president Kenyatta was declared winner.
