Nairobi County Assembly Speaker, Benson Mutura, has been arrested. Mutura was picked from his City Hall office on Wednesday, April 20, evening and taken to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) central command on Kiambu Road for further questioning. The reason for his arrest is yet to be disclosed even as the internet has gone ablaze.
Albeit the justification for his capture has not been unveiled, reports demonstrate that DCI officials assaulted his office and secured him. Photographs of him in cuffs surfaced internet based minutes after the fact leaving netizens with a lot to worry about.
Minutes before his capture, Kenyans.co.ke, addressed Mutura where he confirmed that he would give a press proclamation later and disengaged the call right away.
