The sole aim of the meeting was to solidify the friendship between Raila and president Uhuru which begun on March 8, 2018 and coronate Raila as the community's choice to succeed president Uhuru in 2022.
Former Gatanga member of parliament Peter Kenneth was a surprise guest. Nobody knew if he would attend the ceremony. He was even given an opportunity to address the gathering.
When he stood to speak, Kenneth said that they had visited the Kang'o Ka Jaramogi museum and learnt valuable historical lessons.
Kenneth: We've been taken back in history and seen how Kenyatta and Jaramogi talked and walked together.
He went on to add that they had gone to Kang'o Ka Jaramogi to retrace those steps and see to it that Mt Kenya and lakeside families walk together again.
He said that they want to take that journey about BBI which brought about peace and which will add about double what the counties are receiving now from the public coffers. He urged the former Prime Minister to ask Uhuru to unveil the BBI document for a Kenyans to read and make informed decision.
But what caught my eye as KENNETH was making his speeches was the white stuff on his jacket. I wondered if he left home with a stained jacket or the jacket was stained at the function.
But after a closer look, I noticed that the white stuff was as a result of lighting. There were.. In the dome which some were rotating while others revolving. That the white stuff was as a result of reflection of the light onto his jacket.
